I was walking my dogs this morning as we always do and I could see a young woman ahead of me, coming toward me, walking slowly with her smart phone up to her face. We were all walking among these tall beautiful oak trees, birds singing, squirrels running from tree to tree, light breeze blowing, blue sky and I doubt she was aware of any of that. She was unaware of her true environment, the natural environment around her of which she is a part. There is something missing here in our disconnect with who we really are.
Who we really are here on Earth
We are spiritual beings having a physical experience here on a little planet called Earth in the midst of the grandiose all that is. Our spiritual selves decided it wanted to have an experience being physical in the third dimension where physical is dense, more tangible. We came to experience all of the other physical visitors to this 3D world, the animals, the plants and some say mineral world. We are mammals. We are part of nature. To truly experience this physical world, we must be aware of it. How it feels, how it looks, how it sounds, how it tastes and smells. Truly absorb within us the entire experience of being a spiritual being inhabiting a physical body.
What about our consciousness?
With our concentration on the AI (Artificial Intelligence) world more than on the natural world, where is our consciousness, our connection with our own spirit, with the spiritual realm from which we came? Have we turned our attention, our focus, our awareness to a human invention that distracts us, mesmerizes us, to be habitually connected to a handheld artificial brain that is in no way a part of our true nature, our true selves? Are we becoming robots learning not to think for ourselves but to think only to use a search engine for the answers?
Seek from within…
A quote from Einstein, ” It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity. ” We have the power to over come this fate. We have the power, the imagination, the innate intelligence to retain our connection with our natural selves and to seek our answers from within where truth and guidance live. Put down the phone, shut it off, just for 15 minutes. Experience a calmness in your mind, your body. Become aware of life outside of a mechanical device and truly live. Remember who you really are. A phone is merely a communication device, don’t allow it to be your thinking device. Another quote from Einstein says, “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.” You are nature. You are natural intelligence. Rely on yourself.
Until next time,
Love. Connect. Transform.
